Funding Hexagram Institute Research/Creation in Media Arts and Technologies PI pk langshaw with Professors Gary Scavone McGill, Jean Gervais UQAMWe focus on the theme of communication, whereby interaction and communication between diverse mediums will be realized through the gesture of line, which will both symbolically and actually track the hand or tool of the writer in order to trigger other audiovisual and movement responses. by locating line as the commonlanguage or medium of expression between the team’s respective practices of poetry, sound, lighting, dance and video, we are producing live performance and film art.
